Scott was raised in Grand Junction with family roots in Western Colorado dating back well over 100 years. He graduated from GJHS with honors and earned his Business Degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, graduating magna cum laude. He obtained his Law Degree from the University of Utah and has been a member of the Colorado Bar since 1977.*

Scott brings broad experience and professional expertise to his acquisition and divestiture firm, having owned, managed, and provided oversight of businesses in the professional services, marketing, manufacturing, oil and gas, hospitality, and technology sectors.
As Managing Partner of Meagher Energy Advisors of Denver, Colorado, an energy M&A firm, Scott was involved in the merger, acquisition, and divesture of over $300 million in oil and gas entities and assets and personally managed the due diligence on over $600 million in related mergers and acquisitions.
Scott maintains excellent business contacts in the Denver private equity market and banking industry.
